[BUG] Episodes frequently left unplayed with no time left

For the last week or so when items are played from a playlist or smart collection or directly from the continue watching on the home screen some will have the episode progress bar full but it will keep them on the continue watching as unplayed, sometimes when 3 episodes are watched consecutively all 3 will be left unplayed, from the home I have to mark as played, then the next pops up with a full bar, mark as played, & so on.
I thought it was an issue with the Beta Player, but after I went back to the standard player because the Beta was unusable the problem persisted. I tested on the web interface & was able to reproduce the same result but it appeared to be less often.
The Episodes being tested are all at least 22 minutes, with most being 24, 30, 40, & 42 minutes. This is a known issue with shorts & I am not talking about those.

Thanks for the link, I don’t know why that didn’t come up when I searched, but my problem is a little different. It’s been working fine for a long time with only on rare occasions having this issue, but in the last week or so it started happening regularly & not just for collection items either. I had watched a show that was not in any collections from the Continue Watching section on the home screen. I ended up watching like 5 episodes & when I went back to the home screen it showed a full progress bar & I think I had to Mark as Played 3 episodes for it to show the next one properly.

I also did some basic testing on the web client, but for that I was skipping to the last minute of each episode then let it start the next one, then repeat, but it did happen, just much less, I did like 20 episodes, then checked, if nothing I’d restart the browser & repeat. I did that quite a few times before I saw it happen, & on the local Plex Web when it did I had 2 episodes, on the app.plex.tv I only had 1, but I was just confirming the problem wasn’t limited to my device so I didn’t keep going.
