G’day to all,
I have been watching a TV series and when the episode finishes and automatically starts the next one, going from full screen to full screen, in the new episode the full screen button points outwards to go into full screen which it already is. You can hit the ESC button to go back to windowed and reopen to full screen and button works correctly.
I am running 1.5.5.3634.

Plexweb and PMP are buggy in that regard. I don’t use autoplay, but the full screen thing is an adventure. I made the mistake of upgrading PMP the other day while it was open. I don’t recommend that action and I swear to Popeye The Sailor Man I will never, EVER do that again. I was 10 minutes trying to regain control.
They both also have issues with poster images - as in loading painfully slow, or not at all. The update that brought on this ‘fantastic’ new background color along with the new and generally hated disguised/hidden/camouflaged regularly used features also brought on display issues.
I’m seeing the same issue in 1.7.5.4035 (3.9.1).
When watching a series in full screen view in Firefox, the player will remain in full screen mode and load the next episode, but the full screen toggle button no longer works.
