Bug in Latest PMS Beta

Server Version#: 1.31.0.6654-02189b09f
Player Version#: NA

So on the latest PlexPass version for Synology, the movie finder was really messed up.

Kept saying I had 70 movies instead of 72 and every time I modified a folder it would find that film but then remove another and keep me at 70 movies.

Was very strange, uninstalled and re-installed the previous version Version 1.30.2.6563 and went straight back to finding all 72 movies instantly.

Not sure what was going on there, have you guys seen this?

No-one had this issue with the latest Plex-Pass build?

Not too keen to go back to it when it moves to public, have put my server to public from beta to avoid it for now.

There are known issues with all 1.30.x and above.
They are being resolved.

There is NOTHING preventing you from staying at 1.29.2 6364 from Package Center until those issue are resolved.

Upgrades are not mandatory. You only need IGNORE Plex/web (I do)

Ah ok, I rolled back to; 1.30.2.6563 which found the whole collection again perfectly so I’ll just sit on that one for now.

I did a manual install from the Plex website and didn’t use the Synology package manager Plex version as I thought being up to date would be better. Oh well!

Will stick at 1.30.2.6563 for now.

This build seems solid enough for what I’m using?

Can I reverty to 1.29 branch once I’ve gone to 1.30?

Also is there a way to turn off the notification of a new build as that beta build is now public and being offered to me.

Unless a new beta build has fixed the movie finding stuff then I guess I could put the beta channel back on and upgrade?

The nagging notification is always there (set the channel to Public)

Downgrade to 1.29.2 from the Synology Package Center
Give it a few extra minutes to rearrange the DB again before opening

You are currently running version 1.30.2.6563 on the server “SDHL-REMOTE”. Version 1.31.0.6654 is now available. This update will need to be installed manually after download.

Is the new 1.31.0.6654 - branch better?

Or should I go back to 1.29.2?

Thanks!

1.31.2.6783

Is what I’m being offered now, should I take a chance or should I stay where I am now lol.

You’re good to go to 1.31.2

Installing 1.31.2.6783-9209b39b4 now!

Fingers crossed!
