Randomly, the Android TV app will not properly update the Season pre-play screen with the current status of an episode.
Example: Watching an episode of The Office and I stop playback with the “back” button. I am brought out to the Season pre-play screen, showing the episode that I was just watching. The tiny notation to the right of the episode description shows “18m watched” etc. but there is no progress bar on the episode card. Clicking the episode card restarts the video immediately - you are not prompted to resume/restart the episode like you should be. Stopping the video immediately, you are brought out the to Season pre-play screen again, this time the watched status actually has been updated properly (progress bar on the episode card shows the time that you stopped the episode at the first time and you can actually resume the episode.)
Note: After all of this, I was unable to resume the episode without first trying 2-3 times. Each time I tried to resume the episode, it took 5-10 seconds of spinning wheel and I gave up (normally episodes resume in 1-2 seconds & starting the episode from the beginning only took 1-2 seconds.)
I have attached Shield logs from this incident - it happened around 2:18-2:22 PM on 7/20.
