(BUG) Local Media Assets/Artwork Not Working

So local media assets and artwork are not matching with movies that have special characters in them. For example after ripping “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984)” PMS will not use the local artwork included in the folder. I have a few other movies with special characters that behave this way also and I have to manually match the artwork instead of it picking it up in the folder each time.

Easily reproducible so can the devs look into it? @chris_decker08 Thanks!

  1. how is the local artwork named?
  2. is the media storage on a locally attached rive? Or is it located on a NAS device?

  1. Names of local artwork are ‘Poster’ and “Fanart’”. Works for every other movie in my library except those with special characters like the one listed above.
  2. Stored on external DAS connected via Mac Mini

Never have this issue with other movies that don’t have special characters in the title. If you have the film Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984) could you try seeing if local artwork is ignored for you as well? I would be surprised if it wasn’t.
