[BUG] Lost connection to servers (seems to be Web-Client issue)

plex-web Version 4.12.1
I have a number of servers…

I have started loosing connections to them one at a time via Plex Web.
Unable to connect to “server” securely is the message

I can get to them by logging into the server and then opening from the task icon.

remote logins are being reported as unable to connect

getting stranger by the minute, I have some remote user that can connect and play movies from some of the servers I can’t get to using Plex-Web

if i connect using the ip address:32400 it connects from any system I have. it uses web client from the installed PMS that is Web Version 3.108.2

The new Web-Client Version 4.12.2 will connect it it’s not secure…

Hmm, I can still connect securely using the 4.12.2 web app to a QNAP linux based PMS and play shows like before.

Was it only one operating system, like PMS on Ubuntu, that you can’t reach?

It was to a number of Windows based PMS servers.
Nothing else except the Web-Client Version number has changed.

Thanks we should get some log files if you’re up for that.

Can you confirm that the bundled web app still works?
That app you access by using the https://192.168.1.1:32400/web style address.
Because it comes bundled with the PMS you’re accessing, it will still be a previous version.

Yes the bundled app works fine, tried it from the servers them self and from another system browser using the ip address and port.

The only thing that I haven’t tried yet is to reboot everything.

Log files from where?
Does the web app log errors on the system it’s running on? since I’m remote.

it’s a moving target and my memory isn’t so great. The article mentions what can be grabbed, and sometimes it get’s mailed.
