Just set up a brand new premium music library following a HD failure and not a single background for a music artist downloaded. I left the agent settings at the default (new PMS install as well). Also, I found it strange that some artist images didn’t download, but doing a simple refresh pulled it right up; and this was for well known artists, one being Elton John.
Issue is that one of the provided is no longer online and the api to fanart.tv is broken. I’ve posted this already and hope that they put this on the roadmap as an item to fix.
Awesome, thanks for the info. Hopefully this gets fixed soon. There is a site up at htbackdrops.org that has artist backgrounds… is that the right site? I read that it went down and a different site went up in it’s place.

Yes, that is a different site altogether, and Plex can not download art from there.
This appears to be fixed. I just test a bunch of popular artists and it pulled down the fanart/backgrounds.
