the subtitles in ass format sometimes take time to load at the start of the video or when rewinding/fast-forwarding, the subtitles take a few seconds to appear.
with the link to the next episode, sometimes and rarely it happens that the passage to the next episode blocks, the spinner never ends, forced to do a back and restart the video
the auto skip intro/credit animation, the progression appears properly during first video playback, but on the following video, the progression animation on the skip button does not occur
thx for your reply, yes I use the latest version 9.1.1, but the problems mentioned are specific to plex and not to the shield, I have none of the problems mentioned in the release note.
The fact that the patch is not certified, that it is impossible to roll back, and that some people are having more problems with this patch for the Shield Pro 2019 puts me off a bit
thx, but it’s impossible to comeback to 9.1.1 without apply the fix, because it is impossible to remove access to the hotfix once requested, and intermediate updates are not offered.
Nvidia probably won’t do anything anymore. Nvidia has stopped product support. There are neither new updates nor any answers in the Nvidia forum.
If you are totally dissatisfied, you can also go back to version 8.2.3 with Android 9. This is also quite stable, but has problems for some people with AVR and DTS HRA films, for example.
Well I did the update on one of my shields, for the moment everything is fine, I even gained 1GB of storage, I think I had the wifi log problem even though I use ethernet.
For the plex alpha a will wait the release, there is more chance of having plex updates than nvidia updates
And for the server part i use a dedicate server (geekom nuc with win11)
