Bug: Optimized version removes subtitle

Creating optimized Media “for TV” removes the embedded subtitles.

Plex Version: Version 1.13.5.5291 (I will try witht the updated version, but have no high hopes)

When I use Optimized versions there is a probleme with subtitles … Exemple: I’ve got Peaky.Blinders.S01E05.mkv when i read the original file with VLC i can read the english or french subtitles include in the MKV, i’ve got no problem when i read the original file with plex, but i do an optimized version for my samrtphone and when i want to read it sometimes i’ve got only english subtitles … sometimes with others episodes no problems, sometimes i’ve got no subtitles … Someone knows what i miss…

Same issue. It is mentioned in the doc that if selected subtitles are merged (images) or added (text). This simply does not work.

Plex is not keeping my subtitles when I create optimized versions of video files. When I say optimize I mean the feature located in the More Info tab for the video. It has some defaults, like optimize for TV, mobile, etc, but even in the custom options there are no settings for subtitles. I am not a techie and do not want to deal with locating files and trying to merge them, etc, I believe plex needs to submit a ticket to address this for future updates. I have upgraded the server to Version 1.13.6.5339 and tried again, same result.
