I’m not sure where to post this, because I am not entirely sure where this bug is coming from.
There are two users on my system. My user is the main user, and there is one Managed user set up for my wife. Occasionally when I partially watch something, it will show up in my wife’s “Continue Watching” list, or vice versa (if my wife watches part of something, it will show up in mine).
We have been very careful to make sure that we are on the correct user before we start watching something, just to make sure it wasn’t user error. We switch back and forth frequently since we share a TV, but we’ve been very careful to make sure we are on the right user before watching anything.
Actually we are using the Trakt plugin. But we have it set up as separate users on Trakt. My wife has her own Trakt account, and each Plex account is set up to use each separate Trakt account.
Also, this problem only happens sometimes, not every time we watch something. So I don’t think it is something with an incorrectly set up Trakt plugin.
Well I have used the trakt plugin for myself and my users for a long time and it has thrown this symptom up every now and again. Especially since it stopped being updated.
Sadly it’s pretty buggy now.
Though you may be correct and it may not be related I would be very surprised if it wasn’t.
Then again you are running a beta so who knows.
