“Add to Album” isn’t working anymore. Seams like this function has reverted back to its original state “Playlist” function. When selecting “Add to Album” the title of the modal window is “Add to Playlist”. Which is empty.
This only happens when selecting a video in the Photo library. Selecting Photos only works correctly.
Any news on this one? 
I have just tested it with Plex Web 3.77.4 (bundled app) and 3.85.2 (hosted app) and I managed to add photos to an Album and also have it created.
Could you try again?
If it fails, enable verbose logging in the web app (settings / web / show advanced / debug / verbose / save) and server debug logging and repeat and please get screenshots, times of what was done and capture server and web app log. Web app log is through settings / web / show advanced / debug / view log

I have reproduced the issue with adding video and getting add to playlist
