I travel with a streaming stick and due to bad tethering speeds, I have my max streaming quality set to 720p. When initially clicking an episode, this setting is respected and my server automatically transcodes to the lower quality. However, when the episode ends and the next episode auto-plays, the setting is not respected and the auto-played episode attempts to stream at original quality. Clicking the quality button on the client shows “limited - 2Mbps,” however, Plex Dash reports original quality at ~18Mbps direct play.
