I have one movie library where I use a ‘Kids’ label that I use to control which ones my kids can watch on their Plex Home account.
The problem is they can’t see any movies that are part of a collection in the default movies ‘sort by title’ view, but they can if they search or change the view filter, if I have my library settings set to ‘hide movies that are in collections’. E.g star wars will only appear if searched for or if the view is changed, because it is part of the star wars collection.
This is daft - they should be able to (i) see collections and (ii) the movies that are part of collections
I’m not sure if this is a new bug as previously I had two libraries (Movies-Adults and Movies-Kids) and have only recently switched to using labels instead. I don’t want to go back to two libraries, so can this be fixed please.
The extremely labor intensive work around is to manually share the “collection” with the identical label, even though the individual movies already have the same sharing label.
For example, I have 3 Toy Story movies. Each movie has a sharing label of ‘kids.’ However, the “collection” also needs to have the ‘kids’ sharing label, or those movies are not shown in the default sort by title view (regardless of client used).
