Movies stille shown

Hi.

Since my nas had crashed for unknown reason,
I now how a strange situation on plex. I moved all my Movies to my external drive untill my synology is fixed, i yesterday sorted all my Movies again. All a Suddenly all the Movies that should not show in my library as i choose so, are now all shown. I checked all settings , i checked ‘dont show items from collection in my library’ , hide collections from library but still most Movies are shown. Can the reason for that be seen in the logs? What should i do

I’m unclear on your problem. Can you provide a screenshot of the movies and of the settings?

So for example, am his x i placed in a collection called ‘80s & 90s’ . but the option to hide items that are in a collection , is on. But still it is shown.

Can you double check and make sure that the collection label is actually there for that movie?

Where can i Find that label?

Ah i see. Is it the yellow tip on the right upper side of the movie poster?

Edit , no its not the labels i think. How do i see if iets a part of a collection?

You need to use the Plex Web client. On there, find the poster of the movie you are interested in. Hover the mouse over it. In the bottom left of the poster you will see an image of a pencil appear, click on that. You will see a window pop up. On the left side, click on the second tab down “Tags”. There you will see the collection field. You might need to scroll down in the window.

I will delete the server and add it again. Maybe that works. Ill update you. Thanks anyway for the help u provided
