Sharing labels and collections

I tried the new collection feature where it would show the collections and hide the individual movies in the library, and I liked it.

But, I have shared my movie library with a restriction on the sharing label to another managed account for the kids. When switching over to the kids user, I noticed that the movies that were in a collection had disappeared from the library view. If I change to sort by something else than title, that disables the collections and the movies reappear, but if I switch to sort by title, the movies are gone again, with the collection they’re in.

It seems that the sharing label restriction applies to item at the top level in the library view, or something. But it should be filtering the movies themselves, and should allow me to have collections that are only half-full for a restricted user, for example.

An UI glitched made me post this twice, and I’m trying to figure out how to delete this one.

Which Plex client was used?
If you use the web app, keep in mind that only the ‘hosted’ web app has currently proper support for the feature.

This was the web client. In the same client, it worked when logged in as my main user account, but switching user to the restricted user made the film list empty.

@dkagedal @OttoKerner I have the same problem - BUG: Plex Home Users Can't See Movie Collections Or Movies In Collections

If I turn collections off all is fine, but I’ve put a lot of effort into creating mine and adding artwork so I don’t want to do this
