[BUG] Plexamp Android stuttering in background after period of time

Scenario:
Pixel 3a Android 12 Stock ROM

Playing music via WiFi connection for sometime, no problems.

Then starts to stutter badly ie it will play maybe a second or two, then pause for a number of seconds, then play again for a second or two, and repeats

Solution: Wake up the phone, but when screen goes off again the stuttering resumes

Note, I have disabled all battery optimisation for the app in Android

It really sounds like some sort of battery optimization or third party thing, there’s nothing suspicious in the logs. You can try switching audio interface to OpenSL from AAudio and see if it makes a difference.

OK its only happened the one time so far, I’ll see how I get on and look at the audio interface setting.
