Plexamp Android playback issues

Hey,
I noticed a playback issue on Plexamp when playing through my Google Pixel 6a. I get random slow down and static noises. This has been the case on downloaded music and streaming at home from my NAS. I’ve been playing through the phone speakers in all cases and have restarted the phone to see if that would solve it, but no luck.

Anyone else aware of this or had the same issue?

Sounds like an OS issue to me. You can try switching audio interfaces between AAudio and OpenSL and see if that makes a difference.

Also make sure you don’t have any battery optimizations enabled for the app.

Thanks for the response. I’ve switched over to AAudio, so will see if there’s any issues when I next play something. I checked regarding the battery optimization but couldn’t see anything linked to Plexamp.

I’ll post an update when I find something out.

Changing over to AAudio.
