I posted this in the general forum and didn’t get a response, so I just upgraded to the paid Plex so that I could report it here.
I have a song which is a single. I set the Album field to “Title (single)”, per Plex’s documentation. In the artist field, I put in multiple artists.
The single-song album should be showing up under both artists, but it’s not. Instead, in the list of artists, I see an artist which doesn’t exist, which is the combination of both artist’s names. The artists are separated via a semi-colon, which is being ignored.
Example:
Title: “Mayday”
Album: “Mayday (single)”
Album Artist: “TheFatRat; Laura Brehm”
Contributing Artists: “TheFatRat; Laura Brehm”
The album “Mayday (single)” should be showing under both “Laura Brehm”, and “TheFatRat”. Instead, there is an artist in the list called “TheFatRat; Laura Brehm”.
This is really frustrating because I have a lot of music with multiple artists. I want to use Plex for music but I can’t right now because of this bug.
Does anyone know if there is a better place to report bugs, besides these forums? I figured the paid Plex Pass forums would be watched by devs, but apparently not.

Plex doesn’t support multiple artists, yet.

That is not possible in Plex.
You can only use one artist as Album Artist, under which the album will then appear.
I think that if people are paying for something, they deserve to be a response from the actual company. But, such is life. I appreciate the information, Otto.
