Using the specific method described in [Feature Request] Plex Dash - Fix Match / Edit Titles and Poster it is possible to reach the option to fix matches. Unfortunately, in many cases it will not work in the current version of the app, because there’s no option to edit the search/match criteria. This is often necessary in order to properly fix a bad match.
For example, my library has some episodes of the new Foundation sci-fi series. When these were imported by Plex, they were incorrectly associated with the 2009 comedy series. When I use the app to try and fix the search, it will only show results for 2009, instead of showing results based on the data actually in the files and their parent folder. The current, intended series never appears as an option, and won’t unless there is an option to change the criteria, as there is when fixing a match in the full web interface.
