The ability to manage a few more details of our library from the Plex Dash app would be great. For example, the things I edit the most to correct my library and grouping and such are:
Edit Title
Edit Sort Title
Fix Match (or Match if it didn’t at all)
Change/Edit Posters that were pulled from the Match
It would be nice to be able to do that from the app as I notice them from my couch. Rather than having to go to the server or PC interface to do it.
Last two should already be doable, right?
Oh, you’re right on change/edit posters, when I tap the edit pencil it lets me chose a poster once its matched. If it hasn’t been matched yet, then can’t choose the poster.
I can’t find anywhere to match/fix match though. Maybe I’m just not looking in the right spot though? I tap the pencil, and it flips to give me posters now that its matched, but can’t edit the title or match that I can find.
It is well hidden, you can only find it if you search for the entry, then hit the 3 dot menu. You cannot fix after browsing. A bit strange but that’s how it is
I don’t see it there either actually. If I search for a title, tap the three dots, the only option in the menu is Edit Artwork. Which takes me back to the browse section to tap the pencil and change poster.
I don’t have anything that isn’t currently matched now though, so I wonder if I had an unmatched item if it would show that option to match. If that’s the case, a fix match menu option would be useful to for matched items.
You have to select the entry first, so the next screen after the search. Sorry, bad description from my side
Oh, there it is! Thanks for the assistance! That is weird that option isn’t accessible from the same spot as the cover art, seems like it would be good to manage it all in one spot.
I don’t have an unmatched one to test, but do you know by chance if it lets you edit the title when trying to Fix Match that way? For the ones that the auto-title has all the gibberish in it.
My (possibly unnecessarily complicated) workflow from the server that I’m trying to duplicate, is to:
Edit the title and sort title
Match/fix match
Choose poster
You can’t. It matches with the best match it finds. No dialog.

Both the ability to edit the title (and choose match source), as well as ability to edit from the browse library section would be great additions.
