BUG: Screensaver comes on when watching Live TV

I just connected my HD Homerun to Plex the other day and noticed a problem that is 100% reproducible.

  • Open the Live TV section on the Fire stick app.
  • Pick a show and start watching
  • Press Back to bring up the Guide so you can pick a different show
  • Scroll around in the guide a bit and then decide you want to keep watching what you’re watching
  • Use the remote to go up to the top and select the double-arrow, fullscreen mode button
  • Watch the show

After 5 minutes (or whatever you have your screensaver set to) the Fire TV Screensaver will come on. At this point if I press Back, the show comes back up and will stay up going forward. If I then press Back to bring up the guide again, scroll around, and then click the fullscreen mode button, after 5 minutes, the screensaver will come on again.

Hope that helps. If there some other official way to get this info to Plex (not sure if they actually read the forums) let me know.

Bump. Is there some other way to report a bug so someone from Plex actually sees it?
