Fire TV screensaver **still** interrupting Plex live TV

How many years has this issue been reported now?

Watching Plex live channels on Fire TV, whether on a Firestick or the built-in TV system, sees the screen saver coming on every few minutes.

It’s as if the Fire TV doesn’t know Plex is streaming…

Sounds like a fairly simple fix, if anyone would pay attention to it.

The issue doesn’t happen with FreeVee or other live streamers…

They don’t care I have been getting this lately also with my screen saver off. They seem to only care about the ad revenue stuff they added. The fire tv app is so bad with many problems last time I reported a problem all I got was well its works on all other apps. Its sad I like plex it could be great if emby didn’t have such A ugly UI I would move to it.
