BUG: Search Results for Director/Actor not showing correct "+X" and isnt showing Actor or Director

Doing a search for “James Cameron” I’m presented with this:

Notice the “+3”

After selecting the James Cameron results I see this screen:

So here we see 4 options, yet earlier we had a +3 shown. This is bug number one.

Bug number two is that “Actor” and “Director” labels are not shown. The top and bottom options look identical but they aren’t because one is the Movies that James Cameron is an Actor and the bottom one is where he is a Director.

(and why isn’t there a non-legacy Android mobile option on these forums for the tags?)

The search result already lists one source, “XYZ Plex Server”, so it’s saying there are 3 additional sources for a total of 4.

Does android-mobile not work?

Agree about the actor/director labels though, I’ve been similarly confused when the same library is listed twice, without any indication what category each one refers to.

No, it isn’t. “+3” means 3 additonal locations with results to “Plex Server”.
And indeed, if you click on it, you get 4 locations shown.

Okay, that answers bug #1, thank you!

What about #2 (the four options don’t show the Actor and Director labels)?

(btw, thanks for straightening out my tags on this forum post, not sure how I missed it.)

@Kilgry Thanks for reporting the missing role subtitle for people results in the source picker. I’ve created an internal issue to address this.
