Search Yields Only Limited Results

I’ll try to explain to the best of my ability…
When I search by name I get incomplete results as related to the content in my library. For example, I search for “Ringo Lam” and PLEX gives me ONE SINGLE film in the results when, in fact, I have THREE. Upon searching, the search bar auto-populates with two separate pictures [results] for “Ringo Lam” as well. The same thing happens when searching for “Sergio Corbucci”. The same thing happens when I search for actor “Anthony Wong”. These are just this mornings examples. It happens regularly with a vast variety of searches. Why is this? And can I fix it?
Running a MAC 10.15.7 and PLEX 4.66.1
I’m looking for assistance in resolving this issue.
Many thanks, and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Hopefully okay in bumping this thread to get some traction as I’ve had no replies as of yet. Here’s yet another example demonstrating the issue:
A search for actor Bill Hickman shows “The French Connection” and “Bullitt”, but not 1973’s “The Seven Ups” which is in my library.
Any ideas?
Thanks for any and all help!

Please see Plex is creating new/duplicate Tags for Directors and Actors that are already in my server - #6 by drzoidberg33 which explains why it’s happening and how to fix it.

I figured it was just common for the search bar to show limited results, rather than every single result. If a search returns hundreds of items, the list shown there could be huge. So to get full results, maybe click on the section up top labeled Search all sources to see all movies that the actor is in.

This gets you to the screen you see in the background of my screenshot.

EDIT: Hmm, it seems like it only shows movie results for the first library that actor is in. Since I split my animated and normal movies, Dwayne Johnson gets split as well. And unless I go to the actor’s page for that specific library, I won’t ever see the live movies in this screen that he was in, such as Rampage, Skyscraper, Jumanji, etc.

Thanks, dokuro!
Followed that link and refreshed all metadata.
This seems to have fixed the issue.
Very much appreciated.
Happy New Year.
