[BUG] Silver Apple Remote moves two items when clicking up/down

today i’ve reset my imac and reinstalled plex media player. after connecting the associated silver apple remote i noticed the following issue/bug.

when i press up or down inside plex the focus moves two rows instead of one. This makes plex nearly unctrollable.

However if i long press up/down then the focus moves only one row. as it would be expected for a short click too.

Since all over keys are working as expected i assume this is due to wrong/problematic mapping of up/down for this remote on plex media player.

Is anybody aware of this issue or has a fixed mapping of the remote buttons already?

Is there any word on this? Candelair used to solve these issues, but it doesn’t seem to be compatible with Big Sur and it’s not under development anymore… so are we just out of luck?

I have the same issue.
Always worked perfectly with PMP 2.12.1 but then I updated to PMP 2.58.0 and immediately had this issue. I then went back to 2.12.1 and the issue remains!

Please help
