[Bug] SRT sub files crashing player

Player Version#:8.6.0.20351
Passthrough settings = Disabled

A video file plays fine without enabling subs. When i enable subs (an SRT file), get the spinning disc (unable to play).
On the browser UI, video file with subs enabled plays fine.

Video file is a Ac3 5.1 1080p H264 mkv .
When played with no subtitles, the server does not transcode audio (Ac3 5.1) or video for the player. But when sub titles are enabled perhaps there is some problem attempt at transcoding issue?

edit: I tried some other video files with SRT subs. Other files had ACC audio, etc., but file also did not play with SRT subs enabled. Some other files which have VOB subs did play fine. Last year there was the reverse problem with the player - VOB subs would crash it, and SRT were fine. Now VOB subs are fine, and SRT subs crash it.

Got the same issue here. Spinning circle for 5 minutes with srt enabled.

Just wanted to point out that not every video file with SRTs enabled is not functioning. Seems like SD files with MP3 audio and SRTs are fine. In otherwords, seems like the problem is with transcoding.
