[BUG] Subtitles not displaying properly when there are multiple versions of the same media

I use multiple version of the same media (i.e. 4K and 1080p versions in the same library). I also have subtitles set to auto select and direct play all my media. The subtitle is properly selected but when actually playing the content, subtitles do not work unless I either select some other subtitle or set to none and then back to the subtitle that was originally selected.

This is quite annoying. I cannot reproduce it in my laptop using Plex for Mac so it must be something either on the shield or on android TV.

Am I the only one having this issue?

Subtitle issues with multiple versions

I have two versions of a movie; one is 1080p and another 4K. Both the movies and subtitles are in different locations/folders. I’ve added both folders in a single library so that the two versions will be combined and that works perfectly. However, since august i have issues with subs. Although the sub is preselected it doesn’t work. I need to manual disable subs and re-enable the sub again to make it work within a movie. This problem occurs only on Android tv and android phone. CCwGTV will not display PGS subtitles when there are multiple versions of a file

Server Version#: 1.29.0.6244 Player Version#: 9.9.0 I have two versions of a movie, one is a Blu-Ray remux and one is a popular x265 rip. PGS subtitles play fine when I have just the Blu-Ray, but when there are two versions the PGS subtitles are not displayed, even though Tautulli says they are. I confirmed this was the problem by removing the x265 version and trying the Blu-Ray version again.
