BUG: Trying to play synced music skips over all tracks with error

Hi,

I am currently facing an issue with the Android app.
Whenever I try to play a track that has been synced to my Android device, the player simply skips it with a nondescript error message.

I have already tried to delete my synced media and synced it again to no avail.

Edit 1: Looking at the client log reports a “TransientError (null)” which does not look like it’s going to help in diagnosing the underlying issue.

Edit 2: I tried reinstalling the app, but the issue is still not solved.

Edit 3: Apparently, starting playback in the Sync & Downloads menu works (though the button to sync does not work, citing I apparently don’t have an active Plex Pass). It’s only when trying to play music from my Music collection, which is also on the server, where this issue appears.

There are several threads about this. Still no resolution, but now I’m following this thread too, so if there is a resolution posted in a different thread, I’ll post here… You’re definitely not the only one experiencing this issue.
