Bug? Two-finger scrolling in the downloads page is difficult

Server Version#: 4.145.1
Player Version#: 2025.14.0 (1037)

  • Your device (make and model): iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (5th generation) on an Apple Magic Keyboard
  • The device OS (and OS version) iPad OS 18.4.1
  • Plex app version: 2025.14.0 (1037)
  • What you were doing when the issue happened: N/A
  • Whether it’s reproducible: Yes.

This might not affect a lot of people, but I thought I’d report it here. If you are using an iPad in a Magic Keyboard case, you are probably accustomed to using the trackpad’s two-finger gesture for scrolling. In the downloads section of the new Plex app you can’t do this unless you start scrolling while your cursor is positioned in the 20-pixel gap between the cards representing each download. If your cursor is directly over one of the cards when you start trying to scroll, you won’t be able to. You can slide the card to the left to delete it, but you can’t scroll.

Here’s something fun, though: if your cursor is in the horizontal space between two cards when you start scrolling, you’ll be able to scroll up and down as much as you want, even if you stop scrolling when your cursor is over a card. You can still start scrolling at will. So I guess it only happens after you position your cursor over a download card using one finger and then try to scroll using two fingers.

The problem doesn’t occur if you try to scroll using a finger directly on the iPad screen.

Two-finger scrolling works in other areas of the app, such as a library. So far I’ve only run into this problem on the downloads page.
