When I type in the search screen at what I’d call normal speed, it consistently skips some letters. My keyboard doesn’t skip letters elsewhere.
My guess would be that this screen is designed for slower, non-physical-keyboard input in a way that it’s not “listening” for further typing quickly enough.

I can confirm this… odd – never noticed it before but it actually happens for me as well.

PMP v2.48 is supposed to fix this issue:
