[Bug] Unable to fast-forward or rewind using Xbox remote control

I’ve got an Xbox One and the media remote control. When playing videos, I can skip files, fast-forward and rewind using the next/previous, FF and rewind buttons, as well as skip forward and back in the video using the left/right and up/down direction buttons.

When playing audio (music or podcasts), all of the skip, FF/Rew and left/right buttons actually skip files, so it’s impossible to move through the track in either direction. Clearly this is a bug. Is there any fix/workaround?
