there seems to be an issue with the FF/R feature. I know it has a new behaviour, but I’m sure what I’m about to describe is not intended.
In this case, I am using an Xbox Media Remote, not a game controller (although this issue is replicated with a controller), and only the circular button arrows, not the FF/R buttons.
I am seeking for a specific chapter something on a long video without pausing the video, and if I press the left/right/up/down button on the circle pad, it will naturally move me over to the new time, and pull up the timeline and menu bar. If I try to seek again before waiting for the menubar to go down, it will seek from the INITIAL time before it started the seek operations, not from the new time I landed on after seeking.
e.g.:
time is 00:05.
I press up button: 10:05
I press right: 00:35
IF I wait for the menubar to go down (or press back to make it disappear manually), then this issue does not occur.
e.g.:
time is 00:05.
I press up button: 10:05
I wait until menu bar disappears…
I press right: 10:35
I think this issue may occur mostly at a moment when the server pauses to buffer the new time and has not yet changed to the new one in the timeline.
