As the main user, if you add any movies to “Collections”, other secondary users won’t see collections or the movies they contain if they view the library by Title.
I’ve got two web browsers open right now, and my main account sees all the movies & collections. The secondary user doesn’t see any collections or the movies in them and they are listed by Title. When I pick “Collections” from the user’s drop-down menu, I get the text “There are no items in this library”. However, if I switch to listing by Year, all the movies show up.
This is repeatable and if I add a movie to a collection, it disappears from the user’s screen.
Are you restricting your shared users by ‘Labels’?
If so, then this is an already known bug.
Yeah, I am using Labels. I searched for it but I didn’t find a mention of this bug on the forums, but maybe I’m not looking in the right spot. Should I assume it will be updated soon?
If not, I’ll remove the Collections for now. It’s nice but I’d rather have the movies available for my family until it’s completely working.
It appears there is a fix in the pipeline for the web app.
Just wondering if this has been looked at yet? As far as I can tell the bug still exists with my users.
This has been fixed. You need to share the collection with the user.
