This has been happening for many months - originally it was happening with just a few TV shows from what I can tell, but it’s also happening with movie playback. The audio significantly lags behind the video. I can get it re-sync for a few seconds before it goes out of sync again by seeking forwards or backwards slightly, but the video playback is still running at 2-3x speed and gets out of sync quickly.
Changing transcoding settings or disabling transcoding does not resolve the issue.
Issue does not occur when doing playback on the Linux Plex-HTPC app, Kodi, or locally with a browser, so I assume it’s a mobile-specific issue.
Audio sounds normal, seems to be an issue specifically with the video playback speed.
There have been a number of open issues like this in the past (i.e. Android Player Ver. 8.24.0.28408 speed playback at 2x if automatic convert is triggered - #85 by ridernyc) , but they’ve closed due to inactivity.
Is there a known or recommended fix for this, and has Plex even acknowledged the issue
