BUG: Watched flag automatically cleared when scanning, can't set or unset

In both the webos client and the HTPC client on windows, a bug was introduced around mid-June where the “watched” flag, visible as a checkmark on a poster thumbnail, is automatically cleared as you scan the selection box past the thumbnail. Additionally, it is no longer possible to set/unset the watched flag using these clients.

Plex web (ie. apps.plex.tv) works fine. I also checked my database files using the DBRepair script and they found no issues.

I created a video that illustrates what this looks like on both the webos and HTPC clients, and also shows that the actual plex database is fine because plex web is working correctly. Link to video is here: https://youtu.be/RkB-xUpXt8c

While not demonstrated in the video, the amount of playback time remaining, represented on a video thumbnail as a horizontal yellow line on the bottom of the thumbnail, also disappears when scanning over it with both these clients. Again, correctly displayed/represented in plex web.

A quick scan of the forums shows that this is happening to more than just me: Samsung Plex App - Episode watched indicator (checkmark) disappearing when brought into focus
