Bugs plexamp On Mac

Couldn’t find anywhere to report bugs, so I try here:

  1. This first bug is one I have with the guest DJ. After I select the DJ Gemini, it now only inserts the most sonically similar track for the song that is playing when the DJ is turned on, not with the following songs on the queue.

  2. The second bug is that on the player screen, where you see your current track, the album art, artist and album name, it always displays 2023 instead of the year of the album. When I go and check the album in my library, it shows the correct release year.

Have been using PlexAmp for a couple of years now and am a huge fan of the product, only minor bugs but would be great to see them fixed.

It should be every other track, but only if you have a sonically similar track (a “twin”). Since nobody else has reported an issue with this, I assume that’s what you’re seeing.

This is due to you having used the Personal Media agent, I suspect (check the info for the track in the Plex web app). We don’t recommend it, and given that we plan on augmenting track data with more metadata, we moved to displaying the release date of the track when it was available.
