Hello,
I have tried Plex on my synology nas.
Now I have the issue that plex find less tracks/numbers and genres then on my Emby server.
I tried two different scanners for scan library without success.
??

What do you mean by less?
Nothing is matching? Not everything matches yet?
Please describe.
For example:
My emby server find:
artists : 2936 items
albums: 3809 items
nummers:53767 items
genres:121 items
Plex:
artists:1238 items
albums:2683 items
nummers:38377 items
genres:31 items
My folder structure:
Mainfolder/first letter/artist/album/files
Muziek/A/Airbag/a day at the race/
I have tried two search scanners: Plex media music scanner and Plex music
Options : Genres integrated tags V
Album folders: Plex music and local files
Which directories are you using as the ‘root’ directories?
Mainfolder/First Letter and Muziek/A .
then repeating again for each letter ? (e.g. Muziek/A, Muziek/B , etc )
Plex follows this structure:
Artist / Album / Disc number (if needed) / 01. first song
Here you can see my ongoing work (I’m recording the vinyl and replacing.)

I am not changing my folder structure , because Plex wants this.
Strange though, that similar programs have no problem with this folder structure!
