Currently, I am remodeling a Class A motorhome, and because most RV parks have crappy WIFI, I want to build a low-power consumption Plex server into the RV so that we carry our entertainment with us. Since we would be only watching from devices that can handle the native MP4 format (Android, Windows and the Samsung LCD TVs) I believe I donot need a system capable of transcoding, which reduced CPU need.
Has anyone done this, and is so, how? I would rather not reinvent the wheel here.

USB external drive is the quickest, but beware some TV’s have limiting size of drive for compatibility. Maybe Plex player instead
