Please help,Bunsenlabs Helium is my Linux distro,i have been trying to get plex to work but can’t figure it out I install the package for the plex media server and then ,nothing,
While I cannot guarantee any success whatsoever;
This packaging is what is being developed. It is hoped to extend the Linux base and be more available to the lesser popular distros.
To use this:
- uninstall and purge the existing installation
- Verify /etc/defaults/plexmediaserver was deleted
- Verify /var/lib/plexmediaserver was deleted.
- Verify user plex has been deleted.
- Restart
- Install the X86_64 debian from here.
Should this work, great.
If it doesn’t work, then your distro is simply “too obscure”
Plex is very generic in its requirements.
