I am having problems getting the plex client for one of my iphones to turn off picture upload. I have since moved my media server to another server. When I try to reset the client on my iphone, it provides a message saying the server is no longer available for upload. However when I close that and try to click to turn off the picture upload, it will not turn off and appears to be frozen. If I back out and come back to the screen I get the same pop up and still locked in the on position. I assume this is a bug, but if not, please let me know if I am doing something wrong.
Thanks,
Chad
Anybody able to offer some help here?
This still seems to be an issue 10 mos later. I’m a plex pass guy and the camera upload toggle button is fixed ON and unable to turn off. While I was able to sync my first batch of (106) photo/video assets from the iphone to my plex server without any issue, subsequent attempts to sync media on my iphone yields a message in the app footer, “Your media is already being uploaded to the server FOOBAR”. No further media can be synced it seems and again, the Camera Upload toggle is stuck on. I have it set to not “NOT” upload automatically since I wanted to control when the media set is ready to push up to my server. I just installed the app last night on my iphone 7 Plus. Thx all!

FIXED! I simply removed the Plex app from my iphone and reinstalled the Plex app again. This time, however, when attempting to upload the camera lot, it told me there was no media to sync although there were two new photos not on my plex server. So, I rebooted the iphone, attempted it again, and this time it correctly uploaded the two additional photos to plex exactly where they should be. I am also now able to toggle the camera upload button back and forth as expected.
The root cause still hasn’t been resolved. This still occurs. Can confirm that removing the app and re-adding resolves the issue.
Same issue here I had to uninstall the app and reinstall it before it started working again. After the reinstall my main screen was populated with media content where it was blank before not sure if that is related.
It’s been 4 years and this issue still persists! I cannot turn off camera uploads and neither does the app properly uploads the photos.
Just run into this on wife’s iPhone.
Reinstall…
