Camera upload on iphone for a managed user?

Hi folks,

I’ve got a slight problem which I’m sure is fixable, but I can’t work out exactly how to do it, so any answers would be gratefully received please!

I’ve got a plex pass sub and I’m now trying to set up camera upload on my wife’s iphone. She doesn’t have a plex pass (and I’m assuming doesn’t need one), so i’ve set her up as a managed user.

The problem is, when I look at the plex app on her phone, there’s no camera upload option. If I switch to myself as the app user on her phone, then I’ve got the camera upload option.

So the question is, can I use her managed user account (all the sharing options are selected for that) to upload the photos from her camera? Or would we have to have her logging on as me in her app? (and does this have any issues in terms of the plex pass usage if we’re both logged on at the same time, or with syncing of the photos or any other problems?)

@vantrez, You should be able to upload camera photos since it one of the options given in users management menu. Same problem here, haven’t found any solution yet.

Same issue as well and keeping me from implementing the managed users feature since my users all use this feature. Is this by design or a potential big?
