Can you download shows to your PC and view them offline where, for example you are camping and there is no phone or internet service? Used to be able to do this with Tivo, looking for another solution.
The new(ish) Plex app for Windows allows this, similar to how you can download with mobile Plex apps: https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/#plex-app. Announcement here: Plex for Mac and Windows
I’ve read that there are some quirks with this, so you may want to read up on the forums.
you as admin can do a regular download from the web app to your computer for watching outside of Plex.
The download/sync feature of the app mentioned above and mobile apps requires your account to have an active Plex Pass.
