Hi all of a sudden since the plex outage I am unable to access my remote servers using the internet whether I use the apk, kodi addon or web but I can using my mobile provider. How do I get it working again via the net?
If this is actually related to the outage, you could try to reboot the server and to restart/re-login to the client apps.
That being said… as it’s working for the client when using your mobile network… this sounds more like a network related issue.
- Can you also access the Plex Server via Plex Web on that mobile?
- Have you tried accessing it from those non-mobile clients using a different network (e.g. a friend’s WIFI or even while using your mobile as a hotspot)?
If those scenarios are working, this implies the issue could be with your home network (e.g. a firewall, restrictions applied in your router) or ISP (they could be blocking the ports used by Plex „for security reasons“)
Thanks for the reply. I can access the website via mobile. I haven’t tried another internet network yet. I will try that tomorrow
