Plex issue on mobile app

Hi everyone,

I have a small problem with my Plex mobile app.

I use an Android and the app is up to date.

My Plex server is located on a Nas ds418+
I also forwarded a port so that it can be accessible from outside of my network.
When I check it on plex, it says that the server is accessible from outside.

The problem is that I can’t access my Plex media server on the mobile app when I’m using my 4g connection.
And my friends can’t access the server from their home too.

It works perfectly with the WiFi.

Do you have any ideas ? I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.

So it is not just the mobile app then? Can you access it from a remote computer or TV?

Sounds like something is blocking remote access from working properly and not specific to the mobile app.

If you go to canyouseeme.org and enter the external port you used for port forward does it show as reachable at your networks external IP?

Hi, thanks for your answers,

I can acces the plex server with my TV but when I’m outside of my network. It simply doesn’t work.

It used to work, i never had this issue

I chexked on canyouseeme.org and the answer I get is Connection refused.
The firewall is activated on my router and the system IPV4.
Do i need to activate the IPV6 system ?

It sounds like you need to either open the port in your router or computer. Unless your ISP is for some reason blocking it.
