Hi there, I can view one of my plex media servers on the PS4 (and other local devices) but not the other, both the servers and the PS4 are all on the same (wireless) network. When I have secure connection set to preferred (on the server that is not working) I get the insecure connection warning when connecting on my phone and I am unable to connect, but when I turn it to required it says the server is unavailable. I have tried logging out of everything and reinstalling etc, checked firewall settings, and I don’t have an antivirus or VPN. I set up both the servers so I don’t think there would be anything critically wrong there, both are windows desktops and are connected to the same wireless network. The router does not have any rules setup for either desktops.
You said that one server isn’t able to make a secure connection (why?). So if you set it to ‘only secure connection’, it won’t connect. Have you tried to connect to the server when the setting is set to disabled (instead of prefered)?
HI thanks for your reply. I have tried setting it to disabled and I still get the same problem of it showing the server is offline when I try access it on any device other than the server PC
