Can I Disable/Hide Tidal and Podcrap?

Could we please have options to at least hide if not totally disable unwanted features such as Tidal or podcrap, um, podcasts and such? I bought my lifetime plex pass to use Plex for my media collection and the channel plugins because they were orders of magnitude better than a DVR. I really have ZERO interest in any of the online crap and don’t like having it forced on me. It should be easy enough to have a flag that says DON’T SHOW THIS ITEM, so please, PLEASE may we have such an option?

You can disable podcrap in settings->account->online media sources.

As @newplaza stated you already have the ability to disable the online media sources so they don’t even show:

All of the online sources can be managed in that one location:

Lol, I need to upgrade my server again.

So I can only disable this user by user? I want to disable it at the server level because none of my users (family) is interested in any of it. Are you saying that the only way is to individualize the settings for each account? Kinda crappy.

That’s not fair to them. They have the same options as you if they so choose to disable them.

Go here https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/online-media-sources

If your family is all ‘managed’ users, then you only need to set all 3 (4) of these dropdown selectors to ‘DISABLED’ and be done with it.

If there are some persons among them who have a full plex.tv account of their own, they must perform these settings themselves, with their login credentials.
(or if they are members of your Plex Home, they can use the integrated ‘Switch User’ command of the web app)

Only for you and your managed users but not normal users. If you don’t have managed users then each of them will have to login and turn off the features they don’t want as you have no control over it. When new features are released they will have to remove them also if they don’t want it.
