I updated to Mojave 14.4 last weekend and for some reason Plex media server won’t start anymore. I found out that the problem is the symlink. Anyone with the same problem or even better a fix?
I am experiencing issues with this method. I do not want to move the entire Application Support directory only the Metadata folder to a different drive. Everytime I try to do the entire folder I am unable to start the Plex server. I played with it all weekend. I was able to create the symlink and I could create a file and see it created on the other drive but Plex was not able to write to the other disk for some reason. I even change the owner and group of the symlink so Plex had the rights to read and write through the symlink. Is it possible that is what is causing the problem?
