I have one ATV running at the moment in bedroom as the tv is not network capable. Works great, love it.
in the living room I have a samsung TV but for various reasons, I would rather buy another ATV and run Plex connect instead.
Is this possible?

Yes, you simply need to load the SAME certificate on the new ATV that you loaded on your current ATV and configure the DNS settings the same.
