PlexConnect and Multiple Apple TVs

I just purchased a second Apple TV for my office, and I want to be able to use PlexConnect on both Apple TVs at the same time. I've tried to load the same .cer file onto the ATV3, and I've created a new .cer file; both have failed. I can continue streaming from the first Apple TV and the DNS is routing through the Plex server (running on CentOS 6), but the second Apple TV won't connect.

Anyone have any success running multiple Apple TVs using PlexConnect to connect to the same PMS?

Yes multiple ATV's work and plenty of posts on the forum to that effect.

You have to use the same certificate on both ATV's and in the Certificates folder.

when you add the Certificate use ipaddress/trailder.cer IE dont add http at the start.

If this is failing then we will need to see logs from when you try to add etc

I’m running two ATVs with plexconnect. Same cert on both of them. Exact same settings as well

I appreciate your recommendations. It just doesn't seem like the DNS Server is getting responses from the device once the certificate is installed if i use iPhone Configuration Utility. If I try to install it via [ipaddress]/trailers.cer, it gives an error. It's working fine on the first ATV I added it to, but not this one. I'm totally stumped. (And yes, the DNS is set up to go through my PMS.) Only differences between the two is that the working one is connected to Ethernet while this one is WiFi.

If anyone has additional thoughts, I'd love to hear them. I'm stuck with AirPlay for now.

Sounds like your router is segmenting your wifi and your Ethernet networks, are the ip addresses on your wifi different to those in your Ethernet?

And I figured out the issue, which was of course totally self-created. I forgot I had my iptables rules set up to filter by MAC address. I forgot to add the rule for the new MAC. Once I added that rule, it connected immediately and started working.

Thanks for the responses and thoughts, guys. Hopefully this will help someone else at some point.
