Can I use Plex Cloud with local stored files

I am currently using my PC to run plex media server and my files (just under 10tb) are stored on WD My Cloud device. My question is if i use Plex Cloud can i just leave my files on my MyCloud? Its always on and i dont want to upload/pay for storage when i have plenty. My goal is to allow my PC to be off when im traveling and still be able to access my media. Is this possible?

No, your media needs to be on one of the cloud storage providers they list, currently Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive.

You don’t need Plex Cloud. You can install Plex Media Server on your MyCloud from the MyCloud app store.

false. only if you have a certain mycloud. mine is not supported
